Why GIA?
A highly motivated and inspiring atmosphere for any budding architect with an efficient infrastructure and academic capability which is far beyond the standards of any other college in Kerala.
 
Where is GIA located?
Located at Peradikunnu (near Nagaripuram in Pathirippala, Ottappalam taluk) Palakkad, on 5.5 acre land.
 
• Who is the promoter of GIA?
Global institute of architecture was a dream project of Palakkad Lensffed Charitable Trust (PLCT). PLCT’s main vision was to produce world class architects.
 
Will you provide accommodation?
Yes. GIA College has separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities. We provide apt service for your comfortable and safe stay. The rooms are well maintained and spacious.
 
What is the duration of the B.Arch course?
The architecture course shall be of a minimum duration of 5 academic years/ 10 semesters of approximately 18 working weeks each inclusive of one year of practical training in a professional's office.
 
What is NATA?
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. The test makes an assessment of drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, Mathematics and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and are related to the specific field of study. All candidates must score a minimum of 40% (80 marks out of 200) on the NATA to be eligible for admission to B. Arch programs. No candidate, including Management and NRI quota shall be admitted to any architecture college unless he or she qualifies the test.

Lensfed comprises of more than 15,000 practicing professionals from the construction industry. The organisation also encourages their career growth by providing educational opportunities. Criteria of Eligibility for Admission 
Only candidates who have the following credentials shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course. 
i. Qualified a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2017 OR qualified in NATA- 2016 AND 
ii. Have gone through any of the following curriculum with marks as prescribed below: 
(a) Secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects; OR 
(b) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics; OR 
(c) International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination
No direct lateral admission is allowed at any other year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification.
